Chief Justice Balochistan Hashim Kakar Launches Green Courts Initiative On Independence Day
QUETTA: On Independence Day, Chief Justice of Balochistan High Court, Muhammad Hashim Kakar, marked the occasion by hoisting the national flag at the High Court building and announcing the launch of a Green Courts campaign.
In his address at the flag hoisting ceremony, Chief Justice Kakar urged citizens and institutions to take personal responsibility and plan for a better future. He emphasized that Pakistan must keep pace with global advancements and adhere to the rule of law.
The Chief Justice called for all organizations to uphold the law and the constitution, ensuring respect and protection for minorities. He highlighted the importance of constitutional adherence for national progress and announced that next year will be dedicated to celebrating accountability.
As part of the Green Courts initiative, Chief Justice Kakar introduced a campaign to combat climate change by planting trees on the High Court premises. He also revealed that all judges would participate in this effort, with each judge planting a tree. Additionally, Justice Kakar committed to enhancing the efficiency and accessibility of justice, pledging that women will receive their rightful entitlements more promptly and affordably.
