Pakistan High Commission in New Delhi Marks 77th Independence Day with Patriotic Fervor
NEW DELHI: The Pakistan High Commission in New Delhi celebrated the 77th Independence Day with great national enthusiasm. The ceremony, held at the Chancery Lawn, was highlighted by the hoisting of the national flag by the Pakistani Ambassador, with the officers, staff, and their families in attendance.
During the event, the Ambassador conveyed the messages from the President and Prime Minister of Pakistan, reflecting on Independence day, as the culmination of a relentless journey marked by unwavering will, unparalleled struggle, and countless sacrifices.
The Ambassador emphasized that the historic achievement of the Muslims of the subcontinent is etched in history, with Pakistan being founded on the enduring principles of democracy, social equality, and tolerance. He also paid tribute to the visionary leadership of the country’s founders.
Acknowledging Pakistan’s progress since independence, the Ambassador paid homage to the brave individuals who sacrificed their lives for the defense of the motherland. He stressed that sustainable peace and stability in South Asia are contingent upon a peaceful resolution of the Jammu and Kashmir conflict.
